Description

This is the warm, personal autobiographical story of Pat Smythe, considered by many the greatest horsewoman of all time. In 1954 Pat skyrocketed to fame with her record-breaking jump on her horse Tosca, 7’3” in Brussels. It is a well-written tale of her struggle to reach the top through hardships and losses, successes and ultimate wins. Hardcover with 253 pages,  32 pages of black and white photographs, published by E.P. Dutton & Co, Inc New York. Very good condition with the following notes: This is a retired library book and there are stamps on the inside front cover page, on the edges of the pages (when closed); there is some hand-writing on the title page; there is a clear plastic covering on the dust cover and some taped marks; pages are in great condition with normal wear and tear but no major issues
