This lovely equestrian-chic belt was carried by Fredrick & Nelson, a Northwest department chain that was founded in 1891; unfortunately they closed their doors in 1992 and now Nordstrom fills their flagship space in downtown Seattle. When we find iconic pieces like this it is a reminder of the quality products they carried in conjunction with top manufacturers, like this Italian belt brand Cipriani. Honey colored buffalo hide that is super soft and has lovely texture, highlighted by a big brass retro buckle. Excellent condition, marked Cipriani and Fredrick & Nelson, marked size is M/L, excellent condition, c1980s. Measures 40 ½ inches end to end, adjustable 29 – 35 inches, 1 inch wide leather and buckle measures 3 ½ inches x 2 ¾ inches.
